This notice explains what personal data Fairmate Prashita LLP ("Fairmate Prashita", "we") collects through fairmateprashita.com, why, how long we keep it, who can see it and how you can exercise your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We collect only what we need to answer you, and we never sell personal data.
Who is responsible for your data
Fairmate Prashita LLP, A/5, Vikas Nagar Society, Old Padra Road, Vadodara 390020, Gujarat, India. Email support@fairmateprashita.com, toll free 1800 571 8862. For job applications, write to hr@prashita.net.
What we collect, and why
- Enquiries (Get help / contact form): your name, email and/or phone, city, company, the product or topic and your message, and the page you sent it from. We use them to answer your question, send data sheets or samples, and follow up on your enquiry.
- Newsletter: your email address and, if you choose one, your role (homeowner, contractor, specifier, dealer). We use them only to send our newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Order requests (cart): your name, mobile, email, company and customer type, delivery address and PIN code, GSTIN (optional), project name and location, PO reference, the products and quantities, and your notes. We use them to check availability, prepare a quotation and contact you about the request. An order request is not a payment; we take no payment details on this website.
- Job applications (careers): your name, email, phone, city, current company and designation, years of experience, LinkedIn or portfolio links, your message and your résumé. We use them only to assess your application for roles at Fairmate Prashita.
- Security data: to stop spam and abuse of the forms, we keep a one-way, salted hash of your IP address (not the address itself) and, for orders and applications, your browser's user-agent string.
We rely on the consent you give when you send a form, and on legitimate uses permitted by law (for example, keeping records we are legally required to keep). You can withdraw consent at any time (see "Your rights"); this does not affect what was done before you withdrew it.
Cookies and storage in your browser
This website uses one essential cookie, csrftoken, which protects the forms against forged submissions. Your cart is stored only in your own browser (local storage) until you send it. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Staff who sign in to our back office receive a separate session cookie.
Who can see your data
- Our staff who need it: sales and technical teams for enquiries and orders, the HR team for applications.
- Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract: our website hosting provider and our email provider. If enabled, short alerts about new enquiries (type, name and company) are sent to our team through WhatsApp Business, and order and application details may be passed to Lion Group's internal business system. Résumés are never sent outside our back office.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and order requests: for as long as needed to serve you and maintain the business relationship, and for the period required by tax and commercial record-keeping laws.
- Job applications and résumés: for up to 12 months after the hiring decision for the role, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Submissions identified as spam: deleted automatically after 90 days.
How we protect it
The website is served only over HTTPS. Form data is stored in a protected database; résumés are kept outside the public website and can only be downloaded by authorised HR staff after signing in. Back-office accounts use strong, hashed passwords and are locked after repeated failed sign-ins.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you can ask us to: tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it; correct, complete or update it; erase it when it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it for (unless the law requires us to keep it); and withdraw your consent. You can also nominate another person to exercise these rights for you in case of death or incapacity. Write to support@fairmateprashita.com (or hr@prashita.net for applications) from the email address you used, and we will respond as soon as possible and within the time the law requires.
Grievances
If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, contact our grievance contact at support@fairmateprashita.com or by post at the address above, marked "Data protection". If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This website is meant for professionals and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
